1. Tea industry

Baliadangi is a border area upazila. There are tea gardens across India's borders adjacent to Nagar river on the northern border. There is a bright possibility of tea cultivation in Baliadangi due to the similar characteristics of soil quality and weather prevailing. Already, two big tea gardens, namely Islam T State and Green Field T. State have been developed. Seeing the success of tea gardens, marginal farmers have developed small garden incentive. Due to being a profitable industry, farmers have received huge response in the tea cultivation. Locals hope that soon tea industry will grow in the Balia Dangi area due to the expansion of tea cultivation.

 

2. Mango processing

Due to the characteristics of soil and climatic conditions, there is an introduction of mango cultivation in ancient times in Baliadangi. Especially the Surupuri is a specialty of this region that is easily produced. Spread throughout the upazilas, a large amount of mango is produced in small large amounts of mango gardens. But due to lack of proper marketing of Mango in this area and lack of any factory for processing, the farmers are deprived of fair prices. It is possible to build mango processing (ritual, juice, jam, jelly) industries in Baliadanga due to low prices of cheap labor and raw materials (raw / seasoned mango).

 

3. Potato processing and exporting

Baliadangi Highlands are particularly suitable for cultivating potatoes. Early due to the arrival of winter, early varieties of potato have been produced in the Baladangi potato earlier than other parts of Bangladesh. All the potatoes are grown on the ground in this area. 60-100 Mounds per Bigha production bigha The shape of the potato is very large and bright. Almost every year, potato farmers are deprived of fair prices due to high production due to low market prices. In order to achieve that, it is necessary to set up cold storage on Baliadangi basis. Potato exports are being made from abroad nowadays. Baliaadangir potato is better in quality than it is possible to export surplus potato abroad easily. Due to high raw material prices, there is a bright possibility of planting potato processing plant in this area.

 

4. Cereal processing industry

Baliadangi Upazila is an agricultural major area. Very useful for soil quality and climate production. In Baliadangi, in particular, about 21 thousand hectares of rice per year, about 13 thousand hectares of land is cultivated. Much good quality corn is produced. It is possible to cultivate such food grains, flour, suji, baby food and various industrial factories in this area to create food.

 

5. Tourism industry

Baliadangi is a beautiful lily of natural beauty. There are no significant elements that enrich the natural beauty of nature, but the nature of this region has a pleasing resemblance in nature. There are vast areas of horizon and the peaceful villages covered with green trees. In different seasons, due to the rotation of different crops, the beauty of the palate is changed in turn. There are small, tidy rivers, rows of mango gardens, tea gardens on the banks of the river. In the Harinmari area, around 200 bighas of land are standing in the land of Bangladesh and the oldest ancient 200-250 years old historic sunrise mango. At the beginning of the winter, the beautiful beauty of the Kanchanjunga of the Himalayas of the Himalayas of the vast mountains of snow covered in the northern horizon. Among the old architectural features are the Fatehpur Mosque, the Sonegaon Shahi Mosque, the Chorol 3 domed mosque, the Bhavani Babur zamindar house and the Hirinmari Shiva temple. Dasu Dighi, Ratan Dighi, the big dighi of Lahiri Hat, and various folk tales surrounding the Harinmari Dighi are present in the area. There is a rich history of Bhabani Babu zamindar house, Rupganj's zamindarbari, the village of grhalkari and big court. It is possible to create a suitable environment for tourism through the protection and renovation of these monuments in collaboration with Archeology Department. Along with this, it is possible to attract tourists through picnic spurts, child parks and eco parks in the region. It is possible to enjoy the natural beauty of the two banks of river Nagar and the beautiful beauty of Kanchanjunga by establishing high tower and telescope in the border area. In all, there is a bright possibility of tourism industry in Baliadangi upazila.
