The palace is located at Rupganj, a village 1 km west of Baliadangi upazila, on the banks of the river Tiranai. It goes without saying that it does not exist at present. Once this village was called Rupganj because of its natural beauty. Impressed by the beauty, the then zamindar Shyam Prasad Roy built his residence in this village. Next to the residence was a garden rich in various fruits and rare trees. The life-giving rare tree "Amrita Gacha" is said to have been in this garden. At present nothing can be seen except its ruins. The bricks of the building and the patterned bricks in the ground are occasionally found in different places of the elevated Vita. At present, the boundaries of the zamindar's house are getting narrower and narrower due to the occupation of different areas by miscreants. The demand of the locals is to identify the area of ​​the zamindar's house, recover the evicted land and preserve the building with the help of archeology department by constructing a similar building and make it a place of interest.
